Mission
Statement
The
Purcell Mountain Bike School is a registered non-profit society
dedicated to promoting the sport of mountain biking through quality
instruction.
Who
Runs It
We
are managed and operated by Byron Grey, star of the original Outdoor
Life network series "Drop In" and the films "2nd
Coming", "Riders Anonymous", and "Self Titled"
by MPF. Byron is assisted in his duties by Becca Wright, local and
celebrity coaches, and four other board members.
Experience
Coaches
are CMIC, NCCP, Keiser, and first aid certified with years of mountain
bike experience to help you reach your personal goals or just have
fun.

Services
We
have the ability to cater to downhillers with chairlift access and
terrain suitable for beginner to expert riders. X-country riders
aren't forgotten as we have access to hundreds of kilometres of
rolling double and single track that will give you the experience
you are looking for. You want dirt jumps and "North Shore"
style riding? Just come on out and join the ride. We even offer
indoor cycling classes to keep you fit and riding year round.
Location
We
are situated in beautiful south eastern British Columbia. Depending
on your program choice, we meet at Rob's Bicycle Works or David
Thompson Secondary School in Invermere. In the summer we move up
to Panorama Mountain Village. All are nestled in the Columbia Valley.
